This is another proposal for a 12 day tour from West to Central Java which focuses more on the natural beauty of Java. Landscaped gardens, volcanoes, sawa's, jungle and tropical beaches are just some of the highlights where we can lead you. All of this can be done at a comfortable pace in a private car so we may stop as many times as you like when something catches your eye. Day 2. After breakfast we'll bring you to Kebun Raya, the world famous Botanic Garden in Bogor where where you will find many varieties of plants and trees from all over the world. It is a very peaceful and tranquil place to spend a few hours or more. In the afternoon, we can take a stroll to a neighbouring village to see local village activities, alternatively you may prefer to spend some more time at the Kebun Raya. It's all up to you. Day 3. From Bogor we will continue the trip to Bandung via the Puncak Pass. On the way we could possibly visit a tea plantation. It's even possible to visit a tea factory (except Sundays) to learn about the production process. In the afternoon you can take a stroll through Bandung .Stay overnight in Bandung or Lembang
Day 4. In the morning we'll explore the phenomenal beauty of the Tangkuban Prahu volcano, after which we could go to the Ciater hot springs, we can do this trip by car, but if you prefer to stay longer in this area and explore some more we can also take the time and hike to the springs. In the afternoon you can enjoy an inspiring angklung performance by the talented children of the Pak Ujo gamelan school, you even get a chance to play the gamelan yourself. Day 5. This will be a full day of travelling to the fisherman's village of Pangandaran. If you would like, we can visit Kampung Naga (traditional village) on the way to see the daily activities of the villagers. All houses and activities are undertaken in a traditional way, no modern ways in this area. Stay overnight in Pangandaran.

Pangandaran is famous for the jungle trip in it's nature park. If lucky, you will see deer looking for their meals. If you want to see traditional village activities, you can make a village tour wherein you witness people making tempe, krupuk, gula jawa, etc. The spectacular trip to the green canyon is another site not to be missed. Of course you may wish to just chill out and relax at the beach and enjoy the fresh seafood that is available. The choice is yours. Stay overnight in Pangandaran.

Day 7. In the morning we drive
from Pangandaran to Baturaden via Cilacap. It may be a nice idea
and a great experience for you to do part of the trip by boat, in
which case we will meet you again at the harbour of Cilacap from
where we'll continue our journey together. If you prefer to do the
whole trip by car, then of course this also possible. Stay overnight in Baturaden
Day
8. In Baturaden you can
visit the “Seven Hot Water Spout”, and from there continue to Wonosobo through
breathtaking scenery. If possible, and if it can be arranged, you can stay
in the tea plantation area (Tambi) where you will feel as though
you are in the
middle of “nowhere”, totally away from all the noises of the
21st century. Stay overnight in Wonosobo.
Day 9. In the early morning we'll explore the Dieng plateau over mountainous roads to explore the oldest Hindu complex in Indonesia and the Dieng Crater. After this visit we can make our way to Candi Borobudur to explore the largest Buddhist temple in Indonesia. It was built around the 8th century with approximately 60.000 cubic meters of stones and it is supposed to be the greatest Buddhist relic of South East Asia. Stay overnight in Yogyakarta
Day 10. Yogyakarta is the cultural centre of Java and you will soon find out why. Here, you can visit the highest Hindu temple in Indonesia; Candi Prambanan, aside from being impressed by it's stunning beauty, you can follow the famous story of Ramayana at the temple's famous wall carvings. Upon your return to Yogyakarta you may wish to visit the Sultans Palace of Yogyakarta to see the culture mix between Moslem and Hindu. Kota Gede is the silver town is also another option. In the evening you can enjoy a breathtaking performance of the Ramayana. As there are are so many different things to choose from nobody gets bored in Yogyakarta. Day 11. As you may not want to miss out on the opportunity to explore the city by becak (bicycle taxi) you can have a free program in the morning, alternatively we can escort you to places of your choice. In the afternoon, we'll bring you to Parangtritis beach, if the weather is clear, you can enjoy the sunset on the beach while having dinner with fresh fish and shrimps you can buy from the local fishermen. Day 12. We'll bring you to Yogyakarta

in time to catch the flight to
your next destination. Or perhaps you're not ready to say your
farewells, in which case we would be delighted to bring you to more
exotic places in Central and East Java.
